We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Scrynum provides a domain intelligence database with access to enriched data on domains across the internet. The Service includes:

• Web-based search and filtering of domain data
• API access for programmatic queries, batch lookups, and aggregations
• Data exports in multiple formats (CSV, JSONL, Parquet)
• Pre-built datasets available for download

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and API keys
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or systematically download data from the Service to build a competing product or database
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense data obtained from the Service without a separate licensing agreement
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the data to harass, stalk, or harm individuals

5. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as defined by your subscription plan. You agree to:

• Respect the rate limits and quotas associated with your plan
• Not circumvent, bypass, or attempt to exceed rate limits through technical means (e.g., using multiple accounts, rotating API keys)
• Not share your API keys with unauthorized parties
• Implement reasonable caching to minimize redundant requests

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access if we detect abuse or excessive usage beyond your plan's limits.

6. Data Licensing

Data provided through the Service is licensed, not sold. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Data is licensed for your internal use only
• Redistribution, republication, or resale of data requires a separate written agreement
• You may use the data for analysis, research, and internal business operations

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Domain information changes frequently, and while we strive to keep our database current, we cannot guarantee that all data is up to date at any given moment.

7. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed in cryptocurrency. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the following:

• All payments are processed in cryptocurrency only
• Payments are non-refundable once data has been delivered or API access has been provisioned
• You are responsible for any network or transaction fees associated with your payment
• Plan features and pricing are subject to change with reasonable notice

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Scrynum and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

The data accessible through the Service is compiled and enriched by Scrynum. While individual domain records may contain publicly available information, the compiled database and its enrichments represent our proprietary work.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrynum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment
• Extended period of inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, intellectual property, and data licensing terms) will remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in a mutually agreed-upon jurisdiction.
